Adapt Ad

Resize a finished static ad into other social, display, or custom sizes.

Adapt Ad takes one finished static ad and generates versions for other placements. It is the only tool that requires a brand and then opens that brand's Static Ads workflow.

Open it from Tools → Adapt Ad.

The hero title is Turn one ad into every format.

Before you start

  • You are in the correct team
  • You can select or create the destination brand in the picker. Submit stays blocked until one is selected
  • You have the finished ad as PNG, JPG, or WEBP (up to 10 MB), or it is in a media library
  • You know which output sizes you need

Leaving the page resets the form. Finish the run in one sitting.

1. Choose your source

  1. Select a Brand. The hint reads Select a brand to continue until you do.
  2. Add the Source image:
    • Drop a file on Drop your finished ad here
    • Upload
    • Browse Library
  3. Use Replace or Remove image if you picked the wrong file.

Accepted uploads: PNG, JPG, or WEBP only — not GIF, SVG, or AVIF.

If you Browse Library and pick an image that already belongs to a brand, Adapt Ad switches the destination to that asset's brand. Confirm the Brand field after you pick.

2. Plan your outputs

  1. Open Target sizes (Select sizes…).
  2. Pick social ratios, IAB display sizes, or TV sizes from the catalog.
  3. Or enter a Custom size (Width × Height, then Add). Each side must be between 50 and 4096 pixels, and width × height must not exceed 10,000,000 pixels.
  4. Review Selected outputs. The counter shows {n}/10.

You can select up to 10 sizes in one run (presets and custom combined). A duplicate size is rejected: This size is already selected.

Each size shows a badge. You cannot pick the method — the page says Method selected automatically.

BadgeWhat it means
DirectThe target ratio is close to a supported model ratio. Faster, deterministic resize
Layered or Layered · editableNo close ratio match. Uses the layered static-ad pipeline. The result is an editable static ad on the brand, and it costs more

If any selected size is Layered, credit pricing follows full static-ad generation, not the flat Direct estimate.

3. Guide the adaptation (optional)

Reference images are optional. Click Use brand logo to add the logo saved in your brand guidelines, or Add from library to pick any other image (up to 10). Every adapted size then uses them as the exact reference for that element — handy when the source ad's logo is small or blurry. References don't change the cost.

Additional direction is optional, up to 2000 characters. Example from the placeholder: keep the logo bottom-left…

Use this for what must stay fixed across sizes (logo corner, legal line, product crop).

4. Submit

The checklist must show:

  • Brand selected
  • Source ad added
  • {n} output size(s) selected

Choose Adapt ad. The button shows Adapting…. A toast confirms the size count, then AdGreetz opens that brand's Static Ads generation page — not the media library grid.

Watch the generation there. Finished adaptations appear in that brand's Static Ads list.

After you finish

  • Review each size on the generation page
  • Edit a Layered result in the brand static-ad editor if you need to move layers
  • For a brand-new static ad (not a resize of an existing one), use the brand home instead — Create ads
