Generation Basics

What AdGreetz needs before it can generate, how to watch progress, and where finished ads appear.

Every generation spends team credits. Brand-scoped ads write into that brand. Team Tools often write to the team Media Library unless you pick a destination brand — Video Generator always saves to the team library. This page covers the shared rules. Format-specific steps live under Create ads. Tool-by-tool steps live under Tools.

What AdGreetz needs

Most brand-scoped generators expect:

  • A selected brand
  • A public Website on that brand
  • Enough team credits
  • Optional but recommended: reviewed Brand Guidelines, plus logos or product images

A few tools (for example some media editors, or Product Ad with an existing brand) can run with a thinner brand record. Do not assume every surface has the same website rule.

Where to start a generation

Start fromUse it when
Brand homeYou already know the brand and want the result stored there
Brand sidebar (Video Ads, Static Ads, and so on)You are already in the brand and want that format's library
Team PlaygroundYou are exploring a format and will attach or create a brand during the flow
Team ToolsYou want one image, clip, cutout, SVG, or resized static ad — not a full ad workflow

See Create ads for the ad-format chooser, Playground vs launchpad for the two front doors, or Tools for the utilities.

While a job is running

  • You can stay on the generation page or leave it. The job continues on the server.
  • The brand home Recent activity feed shows in-progress items with a status badge.
  • Each format library (Video Ads, Static Ads, Rich Media, Carousels) lists the same work.
  • Typical video jobs take a few minutes. Complex jobs can take longer.

You do not need to keep the browser tab open for the job to finish.

Finding the result

For a brand-scoped ad (brand home, brand sidebar, or Playground):

  1. Open the brand that owns the job.
  2. Check Recent activity on the brand home, or open the matching sidebar item.
  3. Filter the activity wall if you have many items (Videos, Static Ads, Carousels, Rich Media).

Video, Static, Carousel, and Rich Media playgrounds open the brand result page when a run succeeds. Product Ad and UGC Ad stay on the playground while they generate, and you open the video editor from that studio.

For team Tools:

  • No destination brand, or Video Generator — open team Media Library
  • Destination brand selected — that brand's Media Library
  • Adapt Ad — that brand's Static Ads list, not a media library

If the output is wrong

  • Off-brand colors, fonts, or voice — fix Brand guidelines, then generate again.
  • Wrong business — confirm you were in the correct brand. Video, Static, Carousel, and Rich Media playgrounds create a brand from Brand options. Product Ad and UGC Ad use Existing or New brand.
  • Failed or stuck jobs — retry once, then see Help.
