Gemini Omni Flash is now Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash (gemini-omni-1.1-flash). Same picker entry, same 3-10 second clips with native audio on every output — plus three new controls and a new way to make a clip longer.
Pick your resolution
Omni 1.1 renders at four tiers, and you choose per generation in Clip Generate. Pricing follows the tier, so a draft costs a third of a 720p render:
| Resolution | Price / second | 8-second clip |
|---|---|---|
| 360p | $0.044 | $0.35 |
| 720p (default) | $0.130 | $1.04 |
| 1080p | $0.198 | $1.58 |
| 4K | $0.395 | $3.16 |
Draft at 360p while you iterate on a prompt — it also generates up to 60% faster — then re-run the winner at 1080p or 4K for delivery. Existing 720p pricing is unchanged, so anything that does not pick a tier costs exactly what it did before.
First and last frame
Omni 1.1 generates continuous video between two keyframes. Set a start frame and an end frame in Clip Generate and the model fills in the movement — the reliable way to get camera orbits, zoom transitions, and seamless loops instead of hoping a prompt lands them.
Extend a scene by 10 seconds
Gemini Omni Flash Extend joins LTX 2.3 Pro and Grok Imagine under Make it longer in the video editor. Omni 1.1 reads up to 10 seconds of prior context — a big step up from models that only look at the final frame — so the continuation holds visual and narrative consistency.
- Source clip: up to 10 seconds.
- Extension: a fixed 10 seconds, appended to the end.
- Prompt style: write what happens next as a shot description, not an edit instruction — the new seconds are generated, not edited.
- Pricing: $0.13 per second of new footage ($1.30 for the 10-second extension). You are billed for the seconds added, never the source clip.
LTX 2.3 Pro remains the default extend model: it still appends or prepends 6-20 seconds and accepts longer sources.
Notes
- Audio stays always-on for Omni — every clip ships with matched speech, effects, and ambience.
- Image references are unchanged (up to 3). Omni 1.1's video-reference input is not enabled yet.
- The product no longer calls
gemini-omni-flash-preview; existing clips generated on it keep working. The old preview id is scheduled to retire 2026-09-30.
