- Sharper text and tighter prompt adherence: headlines and product copy render more cleanly, and detailed briefs are followed more closely.
- Consistent subjects: people and products hold their look across variations and edits.
- Wider format coverage: includes ultra-wide and ultra-tall canvases such as 4:1, 8:1, 1:4 and 1:8, so banners and strips are no longer cropped back to 16:9.
Nano Banana 2.1 is now the default where Nano Banana 2 used to be, so new generations and edits that rely on the default use it. Nano Banana 2 stays available, and anything you have explicitly set to it keeps working.
