We've added the Freeform Video Playground—a dedicated space for prompt-driven longform video creation. Describe what you want, add optional reference media, and the AI handles the rest.
What's New
- Freeform Video Playground: A new page for creating longform videos from a simple prompt. No storyboarding or scene setup—just describe your topic and generate.
- Prompt-First Creation: Enter any topic or idea (e.g., "Explain quantum computing to a 5-year-old," "A cooking tutorial for pasta carbonara"). The AI plans and produces the video.
- Reference Attachments: Upload images or videos to guide the agent. Drag-and-drop or click to add ingredients—the AI uses them for style, context, or visual reference.
- Language & Audio: Choose your video language and audio style—Dialogue, Voiceover, or Music (Jingle)—for narration, explainers, or branded content.
- Flexible Length: Pick 15, 30, or 60 seconds depending on your use case.
- Aspect Ratio: 16:9 for landscape or 9:16 for vertical (social, mobile).
- Thought Starters: Browse sample prompts to get ideas—documentaries, tutorials, trailers, news segments, and more.
- Credit Estimate: See token cost before generating so you know what to expect.
How It Works
- Go to Freeform Playground from your account menu.
- (Optional) Upload reference images or videos to guide the AI.
- Enter your topic or prompt—at least 20 characters. Use a Thought Starter for inspiration.
- Open Options to set language, audio style, video model, and length.
- Select aspect ratio (16:9 or 9:16) and click Generate.
- You'll be redirected to the video editor when generation starts—track progress and edit once it's done.
