We've added Video Ingredients—a way to upload reference images and videos that guide the AI when creating your videos. Available in all playgrounds and the create-video dialog. Upload your assets, and they're automatically passed through to the generation pipeline and editor so the AI can use them for style, character consistency, and scene composition.
What's New
- Video Ingredients Section: A dedicated area in all playgrounds and the create-video dialog for uploading reference media. Drag-and-drop images (PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, WebP) or MP4 videos.
- Preview & Remove: See thumbnails of your uploaded ingredients and remove any you don't need before generating.
- Reorganized Playground: New Configuration and Content tabs in the playground form for a clearer workflow.
- Better Upload Experience: Improved progress states during uploads, and the dialog stays open while uploads are in progress so you don't lose your work.
- End-to-End Flow: Your uploaded attachments are included in the video metadata, forwarded to the generation pipeline, and surfaced in the editor—so the AI has full context when creating or regenerating videos.
- Smart Prompt Integration: Image attachments are indexed and reference videos are incorporated into the prompt content sent to the AI, giving you more control over the output.
How It Works
- Open any playground and select the "content" tab.
- In the Video Ingredients section, drag and drop images or MP4 files—or click to browse.
- Review your uploads and remove any you don't want.
- Configure your prompt and settings in the new tabs.
- Generate your video—the AI will use your ingredients to guide the result.
Video Ingredients help you get more consistent, on-brand videos by giving the AI concrete visual references to work from.
